The Academy aims to bring children back to normalcy and prepare them psychologically to return home and school. Theatre artists Hari Saran Khanal and Suresh Chandra entertained and counselled the affected children through drama and songs. Vice-chancellor of the Academy, Sambhujit Baskota, also entertained the children with his songs. He also requested the victims to be cautious about the risks of trafficking and violence against women and children.Under the supervision of Baskota, the Academy has expanded its programmes to Harisiddhi, Nuwakot, Dhading, Budhanilkantha, Madhyapur Thimi, Jitpur Phedi in Tarkeshor, among others.
The academy, in the future, want to focus on minimising damage in the coming days, raising awareness among people about the risk of human trafficking at the time of crisis and providing counselling to the affected people through music and drama.The Academy has also been distributing relief material to the victims.
